The Trek

- Location : Hutan Lipur Ulu Bendul, Tanjong Ipoh - Negeri Sembilan
- Usually it takes 3 ~ 4 hours from Ulu Bendul to Summit and 1 ~ 2 hours to Bukit Putus + 20 minutes back to Ulu Bendul car park
- Distance : about 9.8 KM (Trail) + 3.0 KM (Tar road)
Getting there
- Takes the last exist from Kajang - Seremban Highway (LEKAS)
- Turn right onto Jalan Kuala Pilah (Route 51) towards Kuala Pilah
- Continue about 10 KM, Hutan Lipur Ulu Bendul is on your right
- The trail head on GPS Coordinate (N2.72740 E102.07564)

Exploring Trans Gunung Angsi (Ulu Bendul ~ Bukit Putus)

Gunung Angsi with the height of 825 m a.s.l. located on Negeri Sembilan. The two common accessible trail either start from Hutan Lipur Ulu Bendul (5.5 KM one way) or via Bukit Putus (4.4 KM one way). This time we decided to do a Trans Angsi ascent from Ulu Bendul trail and descent via Bukit Putus trail. We parked our car in Hitan Lipur Ulu Bendul, which means that additional 3 KM tar road to get back the car.
The trail is clear a long the way with ribbon markers and signboard. Stream crossing and rope access while ascent, straight follow on decent.
Stage 1 : Trail head started from the big Gunung Angsi signboard and follow the pipe, the river is always on your right till Camp Tangga Batu.
Stage 2 : Cross the river and follow the path until you cross a stream later
Stage 3 : All the way with low gear ascent
Stage 4 : Rope access
Stage 5 : One more round of low gear till summit of Gunung Angsi
Stage 6 : Descent via Bukit Putus is straight forward until end
