Exploring Air Craft Crashed Area of RAF B-24 Liberator (KL654R)

Hiking Gunung Telapak Buruk is not our aim on this trip, the trail head actually start from the peak of Gunung Telapak Buruk. There are few telecommunication towers (Digi, Maxis, Celcom) and two Telekom towers with guarded by soldiers.
The starting point is on your left if you are facing the Digi, Maxis, Celcom towers, that area is under Hutan Simpanan Kekal Berembun. The trail starts downwards about 20 minutes follow by few up and down slope. Although this is not a famous hiking area but the trail is quite clear with lots of ribbon makers, there are few fallen trees along the way.
After an hour and 10 minutes we reached to an open area, there were few pieces of crashed aircraft's wing on the left hand side of the open area. We met another hiking group just visited the crashed aircraft area coming up from the right hand side of the open area. the trail on the right leads to the main crashed aircraft area.
If you continue from the open area would leads to Gunung Berembun peak, further down would lead you to Loji Rawatan Air Pantai where you could do a Trans Gunung Berembun.

Through and flow would takes almost the same time especially the last 20 minutes before reaching back the Gunung Telapak Buruk summit.

- Location : Sempadah Daerah Jelebu / Seremban (Negeri Sembilan)
- Usually it takes 1 1/2 hours to 2 hours
- Distance : about 5.5 KM
Getting there
- Exit Kuala Kelawang / Ampangan via LEKAS highway
- Turn left towards Jelebu / Kuala Kelawang and drive through Route 86
- You would notice a red color Chinese template on your left and further down 1 KM
- The right entrance just after the sempadan daerah of Jelebu / Seremban
- Recommend to use 4x4 on access road all the way up to the end of the telecommunication towers (12 KM)
